About Crazy David

First of all, I’m not really “crazy”! It’s just a name I chose when I started my career. I thought that being “crazy” would allow me more artistic freedom. I was born in the USA with a pencil in my hand and have been drawing my entire life. At the age of 20, I dropped out of the University of Maryland in order to backpack around the world for 2 years, and finally ended up in Switzerland, with 2 children and a little house near Bern. I have been a Swiss citizen since 2016. These days, I can be found drawing caricatures at events across Switzerland, or sometimes even sketching wild elephants in Zimbabwe together with my girlfriend Sibylle Brodmann, the wildlife photographer.
